I got to sit in John McLaughlin's chair when we toured the WRC studios as a Cub Scout. That - and seeing a pre-Fox & Friends Steve Doocey in the hall - were the highlights of the trip.

My dad's done some work for him, actually, hanging lights for his apparently much-too-young-for-him wife. Says he's a nice guy! It probably helps that my dad used to be among his most loyal viewers (he got me in the habit, too).

Barry Gibb! My sister briefly dated a guy who looked distrubingly like Barry Gibb circa 1970, so of course that was his nickname. He didn't sound like Sean Connery though.
