Sure, I'd have faith in a Tancredo administration's use of our immigration system to control the Alien menace. But I worry that anyone more moderate than that wouldn't have the sheer political will to stop an irresponsible Democrat congress from giving Alien a path to citizenship. This is an immigration issue, not an issue for the Bureau of Secretly Nuking Small American Towns After Alien Invasions, which seriously cannot justify its existence based on such a narrow mission. I mean, how often do they have to do that? Evey couple of years? That responsibility can easily be shifted to an organization already tasked with fighting illegal immigration.
