For that you should follow the link to Tim Lee's excellent review over at Ars. By all accounts Shirky's book is excellent -- including my own, although I'll admit that I've read a lot more pages about the book and summarizing its arguments than I have actual pages from it (it's sitting on my nightstand expectantly).
